A bold vintage ring in 18ct gold, with six smooth rhodolite garnet cabochons fitted together like a mosaic across a domed band. Each stone is cut to a different shape, from tapered wedges to rounded triangles, and slim gold dividers branch between them like leaf veins or stained-glass leading. Rhodolite is prized for its vivid purplish-pink colour, somewhere between raspberry and wine, and the polished cabochon surfaces give it a soft, glossy glow.
